Terms, criteria and guide to filling out your nomination form

  1. Entry is free, but all persons nominated for an award must be living or working in the Eastbourne and district area.
  2. Entries may be submitted by you or your company/team/organisation or can be via a third party nomination.
  3. Sponsors are not eligible to enter
  4. Entries must relate to work undertaken or ongoing between January 2017 and January 2018.
  5. The closing date for nominations is 23 April 2019.
  6. We will be in contact with you and your nominee via email, if you/they are shortlisted to receive an award with details of the Awards Presentation Evening.
  7. Complete the form clearly to include as much information as possible relating to the category in question.
  8. Complete a separate entry form and create a separate supporting statement for each category you enter/nominate. Decide which categories to enter.
  9. Multiple nominations can be made in different categories.
  10. Entry forms or third-party nominations will become the property of the template Awards and entries will not be returned.
  11. The judge’s decision is final. Feedback is not provided.
  12. The organisers reserve the right to withdraw an award entry or nomination from any applicant who supply false information within their entry. Judges reserve the right to audit any information supplied.
  13. All finalists must agree to take part in publicity and to attend the awards gala event which will take place on stated regional date.
  14. All finalists must agree to make themselves available for a judge(s) visit if the judges decide they think it appropriate to your entry.
  15. Winners and runners-ups will be announced at the awards ceremony.
  16. Award winners and runners-ups may state in advertising, promotional activity and on their stationery, that they are winners or finalist but this must include the category and the year in which the award was won.
  17. The organisers reserve the right to withdraw any award category if no satisfactory entries, nominations or applications are received.
  18. By submitting and completing an entry for these Awards you are therefore agreeing to these terms and conditions.
  19. The information you supply will be used by Carrot Events Ltd for administrative purposes within the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998. If you do not wish your personal details to be held by Carrot Events Ltd, please inform us immediately.
  20. If you prefer to send your entry via email, please use the headings provided in a word/excel document. Send your COMPLETE entries/nominations by the stated date. Please do not expect or request an extension. Send it to: send it by post or file transfer systems like Wetransfer. Email works best!
  21. Book your tickets as soon as booking opens for the awards ceremony – the tables sell out very quickly!
